Here is a card that I have made using one of my recent craftuprint sheets, which is called “Vintage Lady in Cream A5 Card with Decoupage” and is item number cup218736_172.
I printed the sheet at 95% of its full size onto glossy photo paper, which gives a lovely professional shine. I cut out the card front and used double sided tape to stick it to the middle of a metallic gold A5 card. I stuck on the decoupage layers using 3D foam pads, which really enhances the card as it gives it a lot of depth. To finish, I edged the card front with gold peel-off stickers and added gold gemstones to each of the four corners of the card front. A really easy-to-make card that looks stunning, and is perfect for lots of different occasions, and for women of any age.
June’s free card stitching pattern is a remaster of an old pattern, in fact one of the first card stitching patterns that I ever made!
It is of a white cala lily, and would be perfect for sympathy cards. Nobody likes making sympathy cards, but this pattern will help you create something that is stylish and sentimental.
This pattern would suit any level of stitcher, as it is fairly simple to follow. It is best when stitched onto a dark coloured cardstock, due to the white of the lily leaves. As you can see, I chose to stitch mine on black, and then emphasised the white by using a white 5×5 inch backing card, white peel off stickers and a corner punch to show more white in the bottom two corners. I also rounded off the corners of the black card to soften the edges, and also the two corners of the white card on the right hand side.

This is a card I have made using my sheet “Chocolate Teddy A5 Card with Oval Pyramid” which is item number cup218703_172 on craftsuprint.
I printed the sheet at 95% of its full size so that I could put it on an A5 card and have a border of the backing card showing. I printed onto glossy photo paper as I love the shiny effect that it gives. I cut out the card front and stuck it to an A5 textured brown card. Since my foam pads are quite thick, I decided to just use two of the oval pyramid layers. To finish, I added bronze peel-off borders to the edge of the card front, and stuck some large bronze gemstones to each of the corners, and small bronze gemstones to the circles on the mug of hot chocolate. This card would be suitable for lots of different occasions, and for lots of different people!
Just a quick post today, as I am absolutely shattered. I got the keys to my new house on Friday, and have been frantically cleaning it all weekend (it was filthy).
I haven’t been able to do much crafting this weekend, but today I added some new staight edge side stackers to craftsuprint.
Right, I’m off for a nice relaxing bath now, and then an early night to recover my energy ready for work tomorrow!!
Have you seen CUP TV before? It is a collection of videos posted on YouTube by craftsuprint designers, showcasing their work and performing demonstrations on how to make cards using their sheets.
In this edition, Michael Tullio demonstrates how to make a decoupage Christmas card using his sheet “Ted Loves Presents” which is cup109724_698.
This video was originally released on 9th September 2010.
Here is a card that I made using “Baby Girl with Teddy A5 Card & Decoupage” which is one of my designs on craftsuprint (cup218716_172). It is available to buy for only 80p! There is a matching “Baby Boy with Teddy A5 Card & Decoupage” available too.
I printed the sheet at 95% of its full size and cut out the card front. I stuck this to the middle of a pale pink A5 card and then cut out the decoupage layers. I layered these on to the card front using foam pads. To finish, I edged the card front with silver peel-off stickers and then put a silver gemstone in each of the corners.
This is the card that I have made for the June 2011 Teabag Folding Challenge over at Circle of Crafters.
The challenge for this month was use twelve tiles on a card – no more, no less.
I decided to see what the effect would be at using a split tile, so I created my own, printed off ten and then thought… now what? I couldn’t decide on a fold to use, so I decided to just make it up as I went along, and this is what I ended up with!
I added the finished medallion (which used 8 tiles) to the middle of an A5 peach coloured card, and then folded the remaining four tiles into kit shapes to add to each of the corners. To finish, I added some pink glittery embellishments.
The teabag tiles are available to download, for free – just click the button below!

Last weekend I uploaded over seventy (yes, really!) card inserts to craftsuprint. Some are A5 inserts, however the majority are 5×5 inch inserts. I have often found that these are hard to come by, which is why I decided to go a bit crazy and design LOTS!!!
They are for all different occasions, from Christmas to birthday, and of course lots that would be suitable for any occasion.
At only 20p each, these inserts are fantastic for giving your handmade cards a professional finish. Just print them onto paper, cut them old, fold down the middle and stick inside your card using glue or double sided tape.
On a slightly different note, don’t forget there is currently a sale on at Crafting Cards – you can purchase all of my popular Joke Cards card making sheets for only 56p each! Sale ends Sunday.
This is a card that I have made using one of my card making sheets which is called “Red Roses A5 Card with Oval Pyramid” and it is item number cup218694_172 on craftsuprint.
I printed the sheet at 95% onto glossy photo paper. I cut out the card front using a craft knife and metal ruler to ensure the edges were straight, and stuck this to the middle of an A5 metallic silver card. Since my foam pads are quite thick, I only used two of the oval pyramid layers, but this still gives a really nice 3D effect. And that’s it! I don’t think the card needs anything else because of the rich red colours on the card front and the striking effect of the shiny silver card base. This card would be best suited for anniversaries or Valentine’s Day, although it could perhaps be used as a birthday card for a female recipient.
