Here is a card that I have made recently using my Craft Robo. I cut the Decorative Cat GSD Card Template from white card to make a 5×7 inch card with an over-the-edge design that follows the outline of the cat.

Next, I cut the matching backing plate which is included in the kit, from brown textured card. I used a combination of double sided tape and PVA glue to stick the backing plate to the inside of the card. I looked through my collection of peel-off stickers and found a sheet of cat designs. I stuck one to the same brown paper that I had cut the backing plate from, and then cut around the outline. I stuck this to my card using 3D foam pads. I kept with the gold theme of the peel-offs by sticking a border peel-off down the left hand side, and then finished with a “Happy Birthday” vertical sentiment.

I like the alignment of this card, as the middle is kept fairly plain, which draws the eyes to the cutout cat. It is a very intricate cat, which I think is really stylish. If you put a black mat behind it, you could use it for Halloween cards or invitations.
