When I saw this pattern, I knew that I HAD to stitch it! The mice are adorable, and I love all of the bubbles going around the design. It was designed to be stitched as a soap holder for the bathroom, but I decided to make a card from it. The pattern is from one of the more popular cross stitching magazines, and was published a couple of years ago, but sorry I don’t remember the exact name of the publication.

The design is stitched on 16 count white aida and mounted in an A6 hammered effect lilac card. I added silver peel-offs around the aperture to make the edge look a bit neater, and also to add a bit of sparkle.
