Free Halloween Pyramid

halloween-preview

I’m keeping with the Halloween theme for my second freebie for October, this time with a Pyramid sheet. The sheet shows three little aliens in pastel colours, on a spotty background. This sheet is great for sending Halloween cards to children that don’t really like to be scared!!

To make the card in the photo, I printed the pyramid sheet onto glossy photo paper and cut out all of the layers. I stuck the main image to a pale pink A5 card. I used 3D foam pads to make up each of the three pyramid images. To finish, I added some pink peel-offs around the edge of the spotty background.

Free Teddy Pyramid

teddy-preview

My monthly free pyramid sheet for September is a Slanted Square pyramid of a fluffy purple teddy bear who is waving.

If you like it, please leave me a comment to tell me so! I’d love to hear from you xx

To make the sample card, I printed the pyramid sheet onto glossy photo paper and cut out the layers. I assembled the slanted square pyramid with 3D foam pads, using the sample image on the sheet as a guide. I stuck this onto a pale purple hammered effect A5 card. I stuck the “Happy Birthday” sentiment to the bottom using 3D foam pads. Finally, I decorated the card with silver peel-offs and silver stick-on gemstones.

More Inverted Pyramids

Phew, I’ve had a busy day! I’ve spent quite a few hours working on a website I’m building, been to sign on with the doctors (I’ve recently moved house), tidied and cleaned the house and done some gardening. Phew! Now I’ve settled down to write a blog entry and do a bit of crafting before I go to make dinner. I’m doing Quorn fajitas tonight, yummy yummy. This evening my boyfriend and I are going to watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean film on DVD. We never got round to seeing it at the cinema, so I hope it’s good!

Over the past couple of days I have added lots more inverted pyramids to craftsuprint. Since the 8th September I’ve added 67 of them, and have lots more waiting to be uploaded (over 100 in total!). These sheets are really simple to make and give a fantastic tunnel effect.

Sidenote: I’ve also added 18 iris folding patterns to CraftingCards.co.uk. They are available for only 70p each.

Inverted Pyramids

This week I have added over 25 inverted pyramids to craftsuprint. Each sheet has four layers to make the inverted pyramid with. These sheets also go by the name of “tunnel sheets” because of the tunnelling effect they give when they are made up. Every sheet contains two mini versions of the main image to use as toppers, and two matching sentiment toppers.

318 Pyramid Sheets!

ccards4

Well, I finally got round to adding the last lot of pyramid sheets to Crafting Cards! Yesterday I uploaded a whopping 118 new products, bringing the grand total of pyramids to 318. They are available for only 75p each, and once you have paid for your order you can download the sheets immediately. There is no minimum spend on my website, so if you just want to buy one sheet, that’s exactly what you can do!

I now have over 1200 different products available, in the following categories: A4 card, backing papers, book sheets, craft robo GSD, decoupage, iris folding, joke cards and pyramids. I still have hundreds of sheets to add, but I am certainly well on my way.

I’ve had a few orders this month which I am really pleased about – thank you if you are one of the people who bought from me! I need to start getting the word out about my card making downloads website. If anyone knows of good place to advertise crafty sites, please let me know.

Also, if you think of anything I could do to improve the website, just write me a comment below and tell me what you are thinking – I would really appreciate it, and who knows, you might just end up with a couple of freebies whizzing their way to your inbox!!!

Lots of Pyramid Sheets Added

ccards3

This week I have been working really hard to upload all of my pyramid sheets to Crafting Cards. As I have over 300 sheets to upload, it has taken me a while, and I’m not quite there yet, but I am certainly getting there.

The sheets are available to buy for only 75p each, and you can instantly download them once you have paid for them. They are a bargain, because you only have to buy them once, and you can print them out as many times as you want to make cards with!

I have sheets available in the following categories: animal, baby, birthday, boys, Christmas, Easter, fairies, flowers / floral, food & drink, girls, Halloween, ladies, love & romance, male, sports, teddy bears and various.

Why not pop over and take a look at my pyramid sheets. There is something there for every occasion, so I hope that there is something there that takes your fancy! There’s no minimum order on my website, so if you only want to buy one sheet – that’s absolutely fine!

Free Westie Zigzag Stacker

westie-preview

Here is my first Freebie for August! It is a zigzag stacker of a Westie (West Highland Terrier) dog, in an ornate silver frame.

If you like it, please leave me a comment to tell me so! I’d love to hear from you xx

To make the sample card, I printed out the zigzag stacker sheet onto glossy photo paper, cut out all the layers and assembled with foam pads, using the image on the sheet as a guide. I used my paper trimmer to cut a wavy edge on an A5 silver card, and then mounted my stacker topper on using double sided tape. That’s it! Nice and simple, but because the silver card is so shiny, it really stands out. It looks like the topper is on “wonky” in the photo, but I assure you that is IS actually on straight hehe!

I am giving this card to my boyfriend to celebrate our three year anniversary. Since taking the photo, I’ve added a personal topper with some nice words on it, and a white insert to the inside which I’ve written on. We both love Westies (me more than him, I think!) and would love to own one someday…

Free Make-Up Pyramid

makeup-preview

My monthly free pyramid sheet for July is a feminine themed sheet of ladies’ make-up.

If you like it, please leave me a comment to tell me so! I’d love to hear from you xx

To make the sample card, I kept things simple because of the striking colours in the pyramid image. I printed the sheet onto glossy photo paper and cut out layers 1, 3 and 5 and assembled using 3D foam pads. I found a floral patterned 6×6 scrapbook paper and stuck it to the front of a 6×6 white card blank. Finally, I added the pyramid topper to the centre. Very simple, and it took less than half an hour to make, but the effect is really striking because the pyramid image is so bright and colourful.
